OK I admit it, there are times I stumble on a word for no apparent reason. Although most on-line dictionaries have a pronounce/say-it button, I like the ease of use of this site:

I wonder when we’ll have the technology to have the computer convert something I say to a look-up, rather then the other way ’round?
If I knew how to spell it, I’d usually know how to sound it. But the opposite is a whole ‘nother question.
