  1. Publishers of this report also need to be running a supplimental report strongly recommending that people test their home for radon. The only way to know if your home falls into the 90% group or the 10% group that has elevated radon levels is to test. You can’t just assume that your house falls into the 90% group.

    Free test kits are oftentimes available from various government agencies.
