This single lens allows photographers to take a single shot, and afterwards modify the depth of field, what is in focus and what is not in focus, and slightly change the angle of the shot. Amazing! Check out this short clip.

It looks like holography – appears to be continuous in allowing shifted viewpoint – but the item being held up looks like a contraption with multiple lense tubes, each of which might give a different perspective, which is discrete (specific positions) instead of continuous. Should be interesting to see where this goes in the future.
