  1. I thought this was going to be about tying the laces, since I noticed that the granddaughters tie their shoes (now that they have non-velcro shoes) in a different way than I ever saw. It does include tying, but even more, it’s about lacing and all the myriad ways to lace shoes and boots and why some ways may be more useful for certain needs – fascinating!
