Wallgreens pharmacy price gouging

Most folks have insurance to cover pharmacy prices, and I don’t know about you but my rates keep going up due to price of drugs getting out of control.  It turns out since the price of drugs are “hidden” in the process to us consumers, it’s not obvious when we’re being ripped off, increasing costs which are eventually passed on to our co pays and deductions in paychecks.  It turns out Wallgreens is taking advantage of this situation.  Check it out for yourself from the wall street journal: Simvastatin (generic for Zocor) Wallgreens $89.99   Sams club $6.97

  2. yeesh, all you people with insurance don’t know anything about what stuff costs. Not only do they price gouge but I have had them charge me ten dollars before because that was my co-pay when the medicine only costs 7.42 without insurance.
