I discovered my freshmen year in high school the power of your eyes. I learned that it’s possible to really influence people just by politely looking at their pupils while you talked. It can be uncomfortable for some to do or receive, so I’ve learned to balance this with looking away occasionally. My intention is not to intimidate, but to show respect and be different enough to break people out of their daily routiens. It makes for better relationships.
